I am 6'4" and tried this on my K1200s. Increased the wind noise and buffeting to a huge degree. Absolute waste if money. The designers clearly have not tested it. (Posted on 2017-04-26)

This is my first experience with an aftermarket windscreen. Overall, installation was very straightforward. Two sets of attachments are provided with the X-Creen. The longer bars (shown in stock photo) were initially installed instead of the short, round attachments. I found the vibration of the screen while going down the road to be unacceptable, and changed the mounting back to the round pieces. The vibration is much less now, but more than I would have expected. Adjusted thus, I fare better on my long commute for wind protection.

The X-Creen option generally adds about 3" height, depending on positioning. It also increases vibration. I was surprised to find that the touring screen itself was actually a lot taller than stock. If I had to do it over again, I may not have purchased the X-Creen. The look is a bit odd, but it seems to be growing on me. If I remove it now, I still have the fugly attachment points to deal with.

I expect the mounting hardware will wear out in time. The forces applied while riding are substantial. Hopefully I will be able to get mounting hardware at some point. (Posted on 2015-10-21)

I am 6'4" and thought this would help with wind on my K1200s. It made it worse. No matter how many different ways I adjusted it, the buffeting and noise are terrible. (Posted on 2015-06-09)
