I purchased the DrySpec Tool Tube Kit for my 2011 BMW F650GS Twin. I mounted mine to the Jessie luggage frame. I decided to go to my local hardware store for mounting hardware. I used a couple of small rubber coated clamps and one big pipe clamp. Where and how you mount the tool tube kit depends on what kind of pannier brackets you have and space. Great space for storing a liquid fuel bottle, or some tools, or tire repair kit, or spare tire tubes. I've seen other riders mount the tool tube kit directly to the panniers. (Posted on 14-10-16)

Will dress/cover up the zip ties with a leather strap or elastic band to disguise how its attached... carried my 'stuff' as advertised and I like it a lot more than those gaudy leather purses (called tool bags). (Posted on 14-10-09)

Nice product. I used a heat gun to mold the mounting too fit the curve of my Hepco Becker box. (Posted on 14-09-21)

I was so impressed with the quality of this fuel tube that I bought another one. Easy to install and all the tools needed to install came with it. If you need special tools to install then buy them because it's worth it. (Posted on 14-09-19)

Fits just about any motorcycle with luggage mounted. Fits the MSR fuel bottle like they were made for each other.
I have no idea what the other reviewer is complaining about with no hardware. It includes a full hardware fit right down to the correct drill bit. Yes, if you want to mount using special method you're required to buy extra hardware. That's to be expected.
The lids are VERY secure. There is no way that this vibrated off. It has about 10-15 turns of threads and a thick rubber seal. When you tighten it down the rubber seal squishes and it is difficult to remove buy hand if you get overly meat fisted tightening it. All you need to do it to actually tighten the lid. No pin or lock is required. If you need a positive lock on this then you should not be riding a motorcycle. (Posted on 14-09-19)

I picked up 3 of these for my DR, installed easily on my frame and cases. Minor complaint about the mounting frame bolt location and the contact with the tube lids (not the end of the world, just disappointing) (Posted on 14-09-19)

I bought 2 of these, and first impression was some durable construction. The second was "Where's the mounting brackets?", this is a common thread it would seem. I found the mounting brackets and had some price shock... the brackets cost more than the tubes... ? The third was the 'hole' in the 'dryspec' tubes... not sure why, nor is the hole located for 'drainage'... (will probably plug said hole...) the mounting, well, I used some scrap strapping I had left over from the garage door opener mounting.

I've installed and will be testing, I hope to find something better for the mounting, but... for now, it'll do... I would hate to have to drop another $50 plus S&H... for brackets, but one will do what one must...

I purchased these to hold water, and maybe a fuel cell. I'm not 'yet' a 'die-hard' off roader... I have a Triumph Explorer which I love, but it has it's faults...

I would recommend this product, but with 'cautions'... (Posted on 14-09-18)

Looked good on site, even better in person... solid construction and perfect for as intended use (gaudy leather tool bags have met their match). Glad I bought it. (Posted on 14-07-30)

have bought two of these ; I thought the first time I lost the cap that it had been stolen but the second one definitely vibrated off. Some kind of positive locking device would be useful for this storage device. (Posted on 14-07-30)

Bought it, installed it on the bottom of my Givi side case and now keep an emergency liter of fuel in there, all the time. I bounced along some gravel and dirt roads for 100 miles during a 600 mile road trip for the first "test" of my luggage set-up and the screw cap lid never even budged. Snug it down hand-tight, and put some bubble wrap or spare foam in the cap to hold the fuel bottle (or tools) tight, and you'll have no issues with this, even on rough roads. I used some nyloc nuts and bigger washers and split-lock washer to make it bomb proof. Will definitely buy this tube again, for other bikes. (Posted on 14-07-22)

This tube is constructed of thick abs plastic and designed to last. I was disappointed that no mounting hardware is included with it. Any mounting hardware requires an additional purchase. (Posted on 14-07-07)
