Easily mounted using a Ram mount for a successful 1600 mile trip. No rain on the trip so can't verify the water resistance. A tight fit for my Garmin 2555 GPS but workable. The on/off button on the Garmin can be activated by pushing it through the adjacent part of the case so wasn't necessary to open and close the case more than once a trip. (Posted on 2015-08-17)
