Caution: First determine if you have adequate cable length before installing handlebar risers. Amount of extra cable length varies based on make and model. It is recommended that you consult your local dealer. After installation, check for any binding or pinching of the control cables (throttle cable, brake hose/cable) etc. When you are sure nothing is binding, start machine in neutral, slowly turn handlebar from left to right, if the engine idle speed increases STOP TURNING HANDLEBARS, TURN OFF ENGINE, YOUR THROTTLE CABLE IS BINDING. Check throttle routing and length. You may have to adjust position of controls, or purchase extended cables.

Fit & finish is superb
Installed on an 1190 Adventure, with 23mm triple-clamp to bars spacers already, they bring the bars up 73mm nearly 3" and allow for exact possisionig of the bars. BTW, no need for longer controls cables.
Bending the brake line slightly, next to lever, then repositioning brake line on frame, just in front of fuel tank, works perfectly. (Posted on 2016-04-25)

The only beef I would have, though minor, is that I thought the supplied hardware would have been stainless. Though there's quality in its required strength I thought for the cost it would have been stainless. Otherwise a very good product with excellent fit and finish. (Posted on 2016-04-22)
