Bought this bag a month or so ago and have used it a few times. Overall I like the bag, but am not currently using it and went back to my old Cortech magnetic unit.

Pros:
- Nice size
- Well built
- Lots of pockets
- Magnets hold TIGHT
- Small base, but very stable
- Looks great on modern or vintage bikes

Cons:
- Magnets hold VERY tight, removal can be difficult without sliding it across the tank. These magnets are SERIOUSLY strong.
- "Fabric" on the bottom scratches the tank VERY easily; they include a clear protective film but it's very cumbersome to install where you need it as the magnets are pretty big. I also needed at least twice as much because I was installing between two bikes.
- No "side flaps" for stability. It's fairly solid as is but my old Cortech bag has side flaps and the bag sits better because of it.

Overall it's a nice bag, but the rough fabric under fabric is totally unnecessary and should have a softer finish. I set the bag onto my workbench and it picked up a metal shaving I didn't notice and it scratched my Thruxton's tank badly while trying to remove it to install the clear protector tape in the right spot. Thing is I set my old bag in the same spot without issue for weeks, no idea why it picked it up but the shaving actually pulled through the fabric bottom and was directly on the magnet so I never saw it until it was too late.

Just know that going into it, use the protection film and it'll be fine. It is a nice size and holds well, just a little "too good" at times. (Posted on 15-08-13)

The tankbag is the highest quality I've ever seen. Very weathertight, strong materials and the most powerful magnets available. Does not shift or wander. (Posted on 15-07-06)
